When God Provides Just Enough

If you are in a season where you feel like you only have “just enough,” know that you are in good company. God is not punishing you; He is preparing you. He’s teaching you that His grace is sufficient for today—and He will meet you again tomorrow.

Nearly four years ago, I felt God calling me away from my beloved hometown. At the time, my relationship with Him was shallow, still I yearned for a fresh start. Each time I imagined moving, a profound peace washed over me.

On July 1, 2022, I moved 473 miles south from my hometown, expecting a smooth transition. Instead, it became the most humbling season of my life. I was evicted from two hotels, lost everything in storage, and watched my car break down while I struggled to find work. Facing homelessness and motherhood alone, I questioned why God led me here only to lose everything.

In this unfamiliar wilderness, I realized that, like the Israelites, God wasn’t giving me what I wanted, but teaching me to rely on Him for what I needed. During the wilderness, God’s provision was never excessive—but it was certainly always enough, and it was always on time.

When God Provides Just Enough is a four‑page devotional centered on Exodus 16:2–4, gently reframeing “just enough” as intentional care rather than lack. This devotional offers guidance for recognizing the steady, daily ways God provides in the wilderness.

Through biblical insight, scripture reflections, and guided journaling prompts, this devotional helps you slow down and trust in God’s provision one day at a time. This resource is perfect for any woman experiencing seasons where God’s provision feels limited, delayed, or different from what was expected.
